Calories without the food diary.
If you count calories, add one total for the day. HYFO shows it next to the active calories you burned, read from Health Connect, and compares eaten with everything you burned when that's available.
- One number a day for calories eaten. Never shown as 0 when not logged.
- Active calories burned from Health Connect.
- Burned and eaten side by side, for today and the last 7 days.
- An optional daily calorie goal.
Why one number
Food databases make logging slow, and slow logging stops. If you already know roughly what you ate, a single daily total is enough to see patterns, and it takes five seconds.
Honest about burned calories
HYFO never estimates calories burned itself. Active calories come from Health Connect. Where Health Connect also has your total (active plus resting), HYFO uses it to compare with what you ate, because comparing food with active calories alone would make nearly every day look like too much.
Questions
Does HYFO have a food database?
No. You add a daily total. That's deliberate: it keeps logging fast.
Where do calories burned come from?
From Health Connect, which collects them from your phone, watch or fitness apps. HYFO doesn't estimate them.
