Pick the apps you want gone: food delivery, a game, a feed you keep opening. HYFO covers a blocked app with its own screen the moment it opens, and the only way on is back to your home screen.

What HYFO needs, and what it never sees
Blocking needs two Android permissions: usage access, to know which app is open, and display over other apps, to cover a blocked one. HYFO stores everything on your phone. It doesn't read messages, notifications or anything inside your apps.

Is blocking apps free in HYFO?
Yes. Blocking any app, daily limits with a reminder, screen time and focus sessions are all free. HYFO Pro adds pausing an app when it reaches its limit, block schedules and focus routines, and reports for any period.
Can I unblock an app straight away?
No, and that's on purpose. Unblocking takes 24 hours, so a craving has time to pass. Until then you can change your mind and keep it blocked.
What if I uninstall and reinstall a blocked app?
It stays blocked. You can even block food and grocery delivery apps, or any app from its Play Store link, before they're installed. If one is installed, HYFO tells you and keeps it closed.
Does HYFO see what I do inside apps?
No. Android's usage access only tells HYFO which app is open and for how long. It never reads messages, sees what you type or looks inside apps.
Does it block websites?
No. Blocks work on apps, by watching which one is open, so ordering in a web browser isn't covered. Turning off HYFO's permissions in Android settings also stops blocks.
